Hi. I’m Robert Murray.
Background
I’m a technology consultant and iOS developer. For over 15 years, I’ve been involved in the interactive space. I’ve adapted to the waves as they have hit. My first two years in the industry I worked as a designer for small agencies in South Florida. After that, I co-founded a startup in Boca Raton with 3 business partners. We had a viable project which never launched because we lost our developer. This experience led me to into the development side of the business where I’ve resided ever since.
Since the days of that first startup, I’ve worked in positions that include Unix Administrator for a medium size hosting company to Software Consultant for Lucent Technology. After leaving Lucent, I started my own web development agency in Miami.
Recent Work
Recently, I have worked at Mutual Mobile as an iOS Engineer in Austin, razorfish in Fort Lauderdale, and CREATETHE GROUP in New York City as a Senior Flash Developer. I have worked on projects for major international brands such as Amway, Armani Casa, Burt’s Bees, Fendi, Royal Caribbean and Taco Bell.
Other Interests
I’m an avid runner. I’ve been known to participate in short distance races in Miami, NYC and Atlanta in that past.
Since moving to Austin, late last year, I’ve picked up a few new interests. Biking being on of them. At this point, you’re more likely to find me riding my bicycle around Austin than driving.
